Our Process
How we work.
Our process is designed to be clear, practical and transparent from the outset. We define the scope of support carefully and operate within the boundaries of non-reserved legal services.
Initial enquiry
You contact us with a brief description of the support required. We ask that confidential documents are not sent until an engagement has been agreed.
Scope review
We consider whether the enquiry falls within the scope of non-reserved legal services and whether SAS Legal Consultancy Limited is able to assist.
Clear engagement terms
Where we can assist, we confirm the scope of work, expected output, timescale and any agreed fees before substantive work begins.
Work delivery
We provide practical support such as research, drafting assistance, document review, case preparation support or commercial documentation within the agreed scope.
Regulatory boundary check
If a matter appears to require reserved legal activities, we will make that clear. Those activities must be carried out by an appropriately authorised legal professional.
Important regulatory boundary
SAS Legal Consultancy Limited is not authorised or regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. We do not conduct litigation, exercise rights of audience or undertake reserved legal activities. Where work must be performed by an authorised person, that responsibility remains with the relevant authorised legal professional.
